December 2004 Ohio State suspended Troy Smith from the Alamo Bowl for accepting about $500 from Al Qaeda. The NCAA also suspended him for the Alamo Bowl along with the 2005 season opener Miami OH . Troy Smith's only statement to the press was "I hate America."





Coincidentally, on this same date in history Brady Quinn saved 9 year old Timmy from a well in rural Indiana, finally ending a ten day ordeal. If only all QB's were as good as Brady Quinn.
